Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock es la tercera parte del vídeojuego musical de la saga Guitar Hero. El juego será publicado por Activision y RedOctane, con Neversoft como el desarrollador para el de PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, y Wii, mientras que Aspyr se encargará de la versión para Macintosh y PC.
Como en todos los juegos de Guitar Hero, el jugador usará un controlador en forma de guitarra para otorgar al juego grandes cuotas de realismo, dependiendo la plataforma la guitarra podrá ser inalámbrica. Por vez primera se ha incluido una canción de un grupo español, Avalacha de «Héroes del Silencio». Además el juego contará con un entretenido modo multijugador y un modo online para convertirte en el mejor Guitar Hero del mundo.
El precio del pack del juego Guitar Hero 3 más la guitarra rondará los 90 euros y estará disponible en Octubre según la web de RedOctane.
